Mashed Potatoes Recipe

    • 1 1/2 pounds of potatoes
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    Peel potatoes and cut into quarters. Place potatoes in a pot and fill the pot with water until the surface of the water is about 1 inch above the potatoes. Add the salt.

  1. Place on stovetop, on High heat and bring the pot to a boil. Reduce heat to Low, and simmer for an additional 15-20 minutes, util potatoes can be easily pierced with gentle pressure.

    • 4 tablespoon heavy cream
    • 2 tablespoon butter
    Place butter and cream into a bowl and heat the bowl to melt the butter and cream together.

  2. Drain the potatoes once they are ready, then mash them into small chunks.

    • 1 tablespoon milk
    Add butter & cream mixture and milk to the mashed potatoes. Continue mashing and mixing until potatoes are smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.
