Cucumber Sandwiches

Ingredients
- 16 slices white bread
- 1 cucumber
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon dill minced
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt salt
Instructions
- Remove crust from bread slices
- Peel cucumber in stripes and cut into 1/8-inch thin slices
- Lay cucumber slices out on a paper towel and sprinkle with salt. Leave them for about 15-30 minutes to dry out a bit
- Put cream cheese, mayonnaise, dill, garlic powder and salt into a bowl and mix well
- Spread the mixture on each of the bread slices
- Place 4 cucumber slices on each bread slice in a square pattern. Then put two slices together and cut into quarters. This produces 4 sandwiches, each with 2 cucumber slices and spread on each slice of bread.
- Enjoy! If you need to store them, keep in the refrigerator for a few days, but they are best enjoyed fresh!
